Dementia and Carers Roadshow

Every year around springtime, RDAN hosts a Dementia and Carers Roadshow. The aim of this event is to bring together the wide range of support available for people living with dementia and their carers, all under one roof.

This allows us to showcase the many voluntary and community groups featured in the Dementia Directory, alongside statutory services from across health and social care. Some commercial organisations, including care agencies and legal firms, who are part of RDAN and share our commitment to support people affected by dementia, are also invited to have a stall.

Throughout the day, visitors are able to access free advice, information and signposting from a broad range of services and providers of support, with specific breakout sessions on certain topics.
All advice and signposting on the day is free.

We’re grateful to Trevor Clower and the Carers Association who help coordinate Carers Roadshow across Nottinghamshire. More details of these can be found here.

2026: Our Dementia and Carers Roadshow is growing!

In 2025 we had over 40 stallholders, this year in 2026 we had over 50!

…all providing information, advice and guidance on dementia related topics, whether that was community groups, benefits, eye tests, mobility aids, reading materials, exercise, or how to get involved in research.

Our breakout workshops covered Scam Prevention, Legal Advice, and how to become a Dementia Friend.

The event was very well attended and received extremely positive feedback from both visitors and exhibitors alike.
